IN A NUTSHELL
Over five years of marketing experience has given me time to develop some mad skills, which include but are not limited to: strategic branding, event marketing, content strategy, graphic design, data analytics, project management, email marketing, and social media marketing.
Born and raised in the south (but really a Yankee at heart), spin instructor for three years, self-proclaimed movie buff, and will never turn down my favorite combo: pizza and beer. Discovering my knack for marketing has been both unexpected and rewarding.
I started out as a "Bio Pre-Med" student my Freshman year at Baylor University, only to find that the surgeon's life was not for me. After dabbling in a few things, I declared my majors in Marketing and Finance and discovered some things about myself.
I'M A TENACIOUS,
who strives for a career in helping companies define, build and maintain its brand. Rather than focusing on a particular industry or market, I'm more interested in working for and with visionaries. This is why I'm looking for a company where I can take initiative, but also collaborate with others to come up with creative solutions.
WHAT I WANT TO DO AND WHY
At this point, you might be thinking, "This is great, Sam, but what exactly do you want to do?" Great question. I’ve found that this has a two-part answer.
I’m looking for a Marketing Associate/Coordinator role in a company that I will align with, as far as values, culture and objectives.
The why? Marketing has serious power----it's ability to influence behavior and evoke emotions. Who wouldn't want a job doing that?
